Vintage Hand-Painted Blue and White Ceramic Dolphin Figurine

This vintage ceramic dolphin is hand painted in classic cobalt and white, with bold leafy florals sweeping along his body and soft washed-blue fins and tail. The style is in the spirit of Dutch Delftware, a look that's been beloved for centuries and still feels fresh on a shelf or windowsill.

He has a glossy glaze finish, a painted smile, and a little dot eye. The brushwork is loose and confident, so you can see the hand of the painter in every leaf.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Glaze is bright and intact. Small spot of wear at the tip of the dorsal fin.

Dimensions: Approximately 3" long x 1.5" tall
